CLAY CAFÉ 2020

During the week of January 13-17, 2020, the students in Penn State Ceramics transformed the Borland Project Space into a sea of ceramic objects with its Clay Café project. Varying in size, scale, media and functionality, the objects will be available for visitors to explore and handle.
During this project, Borland Project Space is transformed into a creative environment in which visitors can engage with the makers, make connections through the objects on view, and exchange ideas. Associated public programming allows visitors to engage more deeply with the objects at hand and consider the mindfulness inherent in the act of making something with one's own hands.
